Contingency Plan for School Lockdown Closures
All lessons are taken from the Oak National Academy. This is recommended by the government as examples of good practice for remote learning.
They can be found by https://www.thenational.academy The subject is then divided into year groups and the unit titles are found under the Year Group your child is in.
Each unit has video lessons and resources. Please complete the units in chronological order.
The lessons are over a two week or 10 day programme period and we suggest a timetable similar to the one given. Afternoon subjects can be covered on any day of the week as long as they are covered.
The class teacher will be in regular contact over the two week period in local lockdown through Showbie class meetings and phone calls to assess how the children are doing and how they are coping with closure.
