Breakfast Club

Our school is proud tohave partnered with the National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP), which is delivered by the charity Family Action.  As a NSBP school we are pleased to offer a healthy school breakfast and enjoy the benefits that brings, with students settled and ready to learn at the start of the school day.

Our breakfast club starts at 8.00am but children are welcome to arrive anytime between 8-8:30 for breakfast. Breakfast is served in the dining hall and we offer toasted bagels, cereals and toast.

The cost of breakfast club is £3, although the NSBP are providing funded places for children in receipt of free school meals or pupil premium funding.

As part of our wellbeing initiative and drive to support all children emotionally, physically, academically and socially, this breakfast club can also support pupils to have a more slow and consistent transition to the start of school each morning.

We will also be ensuring that there are more activities available in breakfast club following the research of the  5 Ways of Wellbeing.  When children are finished their breakfast, there will be activities linked to each of the 5 Ways of Wellbeing that they take part in. This includes things such as: outdoor play, board games, card games, Lego, books to read, mindfulness colouring, wordearches and puzzles etc. This will provide for a more social and positive experience for all those that take part.

If you require more information surrounding the cost of breakfast club or you wish to enquire about a place, then please email the school office, there are plenty of places available at all times.
